If someone says that the best existing entertainment is the home TV he or she will hit the nail right on the head. What is more important is that every one on the planet would confirm this statement because since we can afford to have slim televisions supplied with digital signal, we are witnesses of one revolution in the television industry. Nowadays, we can bring the cinema in our home place by purchasing one OLED or TFT LCD, and by using cable or satellite digital television. Therefore, we can enjoy excellent quality of picture and sound. There are few disadvantages, but they are on the way to completely remove them. Why I am so confident, I will expose my ascertained assertions in the below few paragraphs.

First and utmost, the digital television is represented by two main compounds; digital TV signal and TV receiver. Virtually, there are two more devices that are compulsory for accomplishing the entire link, one at the vendor part and the other in the subscriber’s home. Because there are still people who are using the out-dated tube scope televisions, the digital convertor in their homes is a necessity if they want to watch digital TV. But if you are with LCD television, which is model from less than two years, hence you will be able to plug in the cable directly in your TV receiver. We can do this because these new ones content in themselves digital convertors.

One of the main profits of the digital television is its broadband with which by the same media, used in the analogue signals, the channels that can be provided now are six times more. This is one tremendous stride in the sphere of television broadcasting, and what is more is that there are more protections related to the integrity of the signal, therefore the quality will be better and for quite a long time. What is very important for us is the quality that is attained by this digital technology. The immense instance for its virtue is HDTV, or the so-called high definition television. This is very high technological product that conducts excellent performance of sound and picture. Moreover, it just carries the public cinema in our homes where we are able to enjoy the full entertainment of that delighting production. The special structure of the HDTV is its format of the pixels, which are the dots that circumscribe the smallest detail on the screen. As a matter of fact this format has technical name which is resolution. There are two types of them, Ready HD and Full HD.

In my opinion, the only disadvantages can be noticed in older models of the LCD TV receivers, but now they are removed or repaired.
